Road closed in Border Street as fire department attends to chemical spill

According to one of the fire fighters the trailer was leaking chemicals, but he confirmed it isn't gas.

ERMELO – A Portion of Border Street between, Burhmann Street and Smuts Street, wad closed when Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services attended to an accident.

A trailer of a truck transporting chemicals fell over.

Officials of the traffic department and members of SACCW were also on the scene.

The road has been opened and the vehicle towed away in the interim.
