Shopping centre hosts market for the young and fabulous
From handmade crafts to delectable treats, the market offered a diverse range of products that appealed to all ages and interests.
Over the long weekend, the Oaks Shopping Centre transformed into a vibrant hub of youthful energy and entrepreneurial spirit as it hosted its inaugural Young and Fabulous Market on June 16 and 17.
This event was held in celebration of Youth Day. In a unique initiative to support small businesses and showcase local talent, the Oaks Shopping Centre opened its parking area to accommodate a variety of stalls.
As families and friends flocked to the shopping centre, they were greeted with an abundance of activities to entertain the little ones. A colourful bouncy castle provided endless excitement, while various fun-filled activities were organised to ensure the young visitors had a memorable time.
From face painting to interactive games, the event provided an immersive and engaging experience for the children, fostering a sense of community and celebration.
“We wanted to create an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere in which families and friends could come together and enjoy a weekend filled with youthfulness,” said Magda Venter, the centre manager and organiser of the Young and Fabulous Market.
