Camden Power Station donates to Goshen Day Care Centre

The late Sandra Ndabambi, founder of the daycare centre, had encouraged the community to come together to renovate the school to improve the quality of life for the children.

ERMELO – The Eskom Camden Power Station and its business partners, Actom and Howden, donated kitchen and office equipment, fencing and a jungle gym to the Goshen Day Care Centre on March 29.

The centre is situated on the Uitzicht farm near Morgenzon.

The late Sandra Ndabambi, founder of the daycare centre, had encouraged the community to come together to renovate the school to improve the quality of life for the children, and to ensure that a solid foundation was created.

Paul Gray, the farm owner, also known as Ndleleni, urged the local community to take care of the newly renovated centre.

Gray has extended the invitation to all the surrounding farms to register their kids, as it is important that they give the leaders of tomorrow a good foundation.

“Eskom is passionate about extending a helping hand to the community in which they operate, especially on farms in remote areas. We are glad to provide for your needs, as the children’s education is of paramount importance to Eskom,” Tumi Maja, a representative, said.
