Carolina Police Welcome New Commander with 32 Years of Experience

His objective is to strengthen community and police partnerships

After the post for a station commander had been vacant for almost a year, Lieutenant Colonel Paul Andrew Morkel, was appointed on September 1 as the new commander.

Morkel brings 32 years of experience in policing to the table and is looking forward to making a positive impact on the town.

His objective is to strengthen community and police partnerships.

“We want to create a safe and secure environment for the residents and visitors of Carolina by preventing and reducing crime,” Morkel said.

A meet-and-greet meeting with the station’s personnel to welcome him was held on September 18
