Traffic is heavily impacted after a collision earlier this afternoon between a army truck and another vehicle.
Local resident, Veon Fourie sent in a video to show how backed up traffic currently is and suggested people avoid the area.
Three people dead after accident between army truck and vehicle on Mkhondo road
ERMELO – A vehicle and an army truck collided about 10km outside Ermelo on the Mkhondo road earlier today.
According to preliminary information, three people were killed in the accident, and another person sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital.
Traffic is backed up as a result of the accident scene blocking the road, and emergency personnel are still on the site.
Traffic officers, police members and fire fighters on the scene are regulating traffic.
Various curious motorists were warned by a traffic officers not to take photos and to keep driving as to avoid another accident.
Drivers are urged to use caution because traffic is moving slowly.
