Ermelo residents enjoy Wiggle Waggle Walkathon with furry friends

Ms Zelda Keyser was the first woman to complete the 3.5km walk, and Mr Stephan Jacobs was the men’s winner.

ERMELO – The Ermelo Phoenix Rotary Club hosted a Wiggle Waggle Walkathon on March 21.

More than 90 animal lovers and dog owners and walkers, along with 15 dogs, gathered at Bottomless Blessings for this fun family day.

The Ermelo Phoenix Rotary Club sold purple ribbons to empower young girls in the community and to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Using the proceeds of the ribbon sales, they plan to create sanitary packs with Dignity Dreams items.

In addition to the prizes, all the participants enjoyed something to eat in the beautiful scenery.
