Covid-19 case confirmed at Ermelo Police Station

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally at the station on Thursday, 2 July.

Ermelo Police Station has been temporarily closed after a member has tested positive for Covid-19 on 1 July.

All communities serviced by the Ermelo Police Station as well as the Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management units, are advised that the police station and the unit will be temporarily closed due to one administration member who tested positive for the Covid-19.

The member frequented the two buildings as per her duties hence the closure.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated from the office of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit premises, which is around the corner from the police station in De Clerq Street.

The community can in the interim call the following numbers for emergencies and complaints:

Regarding the CR&CSM, Captains Conrad Mortlock can be reached at 076 300 3481 and Amos Maseko at 079 512 6032.

The telephone lines at Ermelo police station, community service centre and CR&CSM will not be accessible for the duration of this closure, however service delivery will not be hampered.

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally on Friday, 03 July.
