Crime rate decrease in Carolina as lockdown continues

Sgt Thabang Mokwana, the spokesman for Carolina Police, told the Highvelder that crime in Carolina has drastically dropped since the lockdown began on 26 March.

Carolina Police and members of the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) continues with the patrolling operations to ensure that the community adhere to the lockdown regulations.

He added that the majority of the residents adhere to the regulation, with only a few people seen travelling to buy groceries and visit medical centres.
