He said: “It is important that we all adhere to the President’s call to stay at home and all the other measures in order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which is ravaging many communities across the globe.”

The District Covid-19 Command Council receives reports from the District Joint Operations Committee and all seven local municipalities in the District.

They report on progress regarding local response plans for the Covid-19 outbreak and their progress in ensuring adherence to the national lockdown.
