Ermelo Police are investigating two cases of rape that happened on 15 February in Ermelo.
The first incident occurred at about 1am, when a woman and her boyfriend were on their way home in Extension 34.
According to Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman for Ermelo Police, they were confronted by three men.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at them, another dragged the complainant’s boyfriend away from the scene and the third suspect raped the woman.

Another incident took place at about 11pm at Thusivillage.
The complainant was on her way home from a local tavern when she was stopped by two men.
Capt Prinsloo said that the suspects beat the woman with a beer bottle.
One of them raped the woman while the other robbed her of her belongings.
