Mr Muzi Chirwa, Executive Mayor of Gert Sibande District Municipality(GSDM) called upon youth cooperatives across the district to take part in a training session on 30 January.
The aim of the training is to empower young people that are already operational and to develop relevant skills to be able to perform tasks and duties within their cooperatives.
Training will seek to address root causes for lack of sustainability of such cooperatives.
GSDM has partnered with the National Youth Development Agency and the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental affairs in this initiative.
