Municipal employees drain water in Thusi

“However, there seems to be a constant inflow of water onto the road.”

Msukaligwa Municipal employees drained water that flooded a street in Thusi Village on 21 December.

The Highvelder published an online article, Rain leads to flooded homes in Thusi Village, on 13 November.

The residents have been suffering with roads that are riddled with potholes where water accumulate and big puddles form.

According to Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesman of Msukaligwa Municipality, the municipality deployed a Tractor-Loader-Backhoe (TLB) to clear a path for the water.

“However, there seems to be a constant inflow of water onto the road.”

He added, the source of the inflow will be determined once the area dries up.
