The Tammy Taylor Ms South Africa finalist, Ms Boitumelo Banger and Ronnie Recycler (Mpact Recycling Mascot), visited the learners of Ligbron Academy of Technology on 9 October.
Ms Banger thanked Ligbron for their ongoing support for the Mpact Recycling School Programme.
Three learners from Ligbron, Sinethemba Machi, Funeka Shongwe and Eugene Oosthuizen received a hamper for their individual contribution towards the recycling project.
Oosthuizen gathered over two tons of paper for recycling.
Ms Banger educated and empowered the learners about the importance of recycling and encouraged Ligbron to keep up the good work.
