MEC Bonakele visits Ligbron to witness e-Learning system

The Ligbron e-Learning Project has had an incredible impact on the school’s results, as well as the lives of the learners.

Mr Bonakele Majuba, MEC from the Department of Education in Mpumalanga, visited Ligbron Academy of Technology to witness their e-learning system on 1 October.

Ligbron Academy of Technology introduced the Ligbron e-learning system in 2007.

It connects learners from rural schools to audio and/or video streaming-lessons.

The Ligbron e-Learning Project has had an incredible impact on the school’s results, as well as the lives of the learners.

It has also won several awards over the years.

This has led to the expansion of the project to other schools around the province.
