A member of ACSU was hit by a vehicle in Fourie Street in Ermelo on 19 September.

He sustained critical brain injuries and broke his collar bone.

He was transported to Ermelo Mediclinic Hospital however, later that night an ER24 helicopter had to transport him to Netcare Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg.

According to another member of ACSU, he is currently in ICU.

The driver of the vehicle did stop after she hit him.

Ermelo Police, traffic officials, Van Wettens Break Down Services, EMS and ER24 were on the scene.
