Siyabonga allows the pencil to speak for him

“The feeling of drawing something and watch it come to life from my thoughts, through my hands is glorious.”

Siyabonga Ntombela (26) born and bread in Ermelo, expresses himself in drawings that define his emotions.

He discovered he could draw at the age of eight and has been drawing ever since.

Mr Ntombela said: “Living in a small town I never knew it could be something I could truly pursue.”

The Pencil Speaks is the name of his social media page.

He added: “The Pencil Speaks came about by me infusing the pencil with my emotion and relaying it on paper with every stroke.

“The feeling of drawing something and watch it come to life from my thoughts, through my hands is glorious.”
