Mayflower Police recently investigated the murder of a 50-year-old woman who was strangled to death by her husband.
According to Const Tryphinah Utla, spokesman for Mayflower Police, the 51-year-old husband hanged himself after he murdered his wife.

She added that this was due to domestic violence that was not reported and urged the community of Mayflower to report any incidents of domestic violence at the police station.
Const Utla said, “According to the mother of the victim, the violence began a long time ago.
“Break the silence and report domestic violence.”
