Two directors remanded in custody for fraud in Ermelo

It is alleged that in October 2015, the suspects, who are co-directors of Mshikashika company, received money which was fraudulently deposited into their account from the Department of Health for the services to the tune of R181 825, which were never rendered.

Two suspects, Ignicia Sabelo Sibiya (40) and Zanele Masina (52), were remanded in custody by the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 5 February after they were arrested by members of the Serious Corruption Investigation Unit on Monday, 4 February for fraud.

It is alleged that in October 2015, the suspects, who are co-directors of Mshikashika company, received money which was fraudulently deposited into their account from the Department of Health for the services to the sum of R181 825, for services which were never rendered.

The duo appeared in the court again on Friday, 8 February, for a formal bail application.
