Two men were arrested in connection with murder and robbery in Jozini, KwaZulu Natal after Davel Police received information about their whereabouts on Saturday, 24 November.
The suspects were apprehended by Davel Police’s Constables Sipho Ndlovu, Patrick Nhlanhla, Themba Mtshali, Sifiso Hlatshwayo and Tendamudzimu Mesamvuni.
Their arrest comes after a body of a man was found under a bridge near Nooitgedacht Farm near Davel on Wednesday, 10 October.
A case docket had been opened.
The vehicle and cell phone of the deceased were found with the suspects.
Police also confiscated a firearm and live ammunition was found in the possession of the two men.
The suspects appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 26 November on a charge of murder and robbery.
