One person died in an accident on the Breyten road on Thursday, 27 September at about 4pm.
According to police spokesperson, Capt Carla Prinsloo, four vehicles were involved in the accident.
A Mercedes truck, Toyota police bakkie and the Isuzu bakkie were travelling in the direction of Breyten, while the BWM was travelling in the direction of Ermelo.
The BMW collided with the oncoming truck. The driver was seriously injured and the passenger was declared dead on the scene.
The police vehicle was driving behind the truck and tried to avoid the accident but collided with the Isuzu bakkie.
