The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) Ermelo, will be hosting a blood drive on Wednessday 10 October.
They will be available at the Ermelo Donor Centre at 10 Kerk Street and the operating times are 11am to 6pm.
Each donor will receive a small gift from the SANBS.
One unit of blood could save three people’s lives.
Cancer patients, women in labour and accident victims are often in need of urgent blood transfusions.
Those wishing to donate blood, are required to be between the ages of 16 and 65, weigh more than 50 kg, lead a safe sexual lifestyle and are encouraged to eat something before donating.
