Mayflower police arrest woman for violating a protection order after threatening neighbour in Suncity

Mayflower Police arrested a 33-year-old woman for violation of a protection order in the Suncity township after she threatened to stab her neighbour.

Mayflower Police arrested a 33-year-old woman on Saturday, 5 May for violation of a protection order taken out against her by her neighbour.

According to the police, the woman failed to comply with the order after she threatened to stab the complainant on 4 May at the SunCity location in Mayflower.

“The woman was specifically told not to threaten or harass the complainant, but she went out and threatened to stab her,” said Const Tryphina Utla, police spokesman.

The woman appeared in the Mayflower Periodical Court on Monday and is under police supervision for further investigation.
