Mr Sipho Bongwe is back as a councillor of Msukaligwa Municipality

Mr Sipho Bongwe was sworn in as councillor of Msukaligwa Municipality at the municipality's fifth ordinary council meeting that recently took place.

Mr Sipho Bongwe was sworn in as councillor of Msukaligwa Municipality at the municipality’s fifth ordinary council meeting that took place on 28 March.

This comes as another councillor, Ms Link Mnisi, resigned as the African National Congress (ANC) proportional representative (PR) on 28 February.

The council resolved to approve Mr Bongwe to fill the existing vacancy and accepted the resignation of Ms Mnisi.

The Executive Mayor, Mr Joseph Mkhaliphi, also appointed Mr Bongwe as Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) responsible for Technical Services.
