Davel police recovered a total of 53 stolen cattle at a farm in Kranspoort on Thursday, 15 March.

“Police rushed over to investigate and with help from farmers in the area, managed to find the suspects and retrieved the cattle,” said police spokesman, Const Portia Nkosi.
Two men, aged 28 and 41, were arrested and charged in connection with possession of stolen property.
They appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 21 March and were remanded in custody.
