Phelophepha Healthcare train coming to Ermelo

The Phelophepa Health Care Train is coming to town and will be at the Ermelo train station for two weeks from 9 to 20 April.

The mobile train boasts 19 fully refurbished and equipped coaches that serve as a simple one-stop clinic with several health care services under one roof.

It provides health, oral and psychology facilities as well as vision screening programmes, medication through its on-board pharmacy and basic health education awareness and community counselling workshops.

The workshops cover topics such as alcohol and drug abuse, coping with the death of a loved one, child abuse and rape, suicide and depression and violence in the home and community.

Ms Thuli Lubisi from Transnet appealed to the communities in and around Msukaligwa Municipality to grasp this opportunity with both hands for free medical help.
