Mayflower police arrest man in possession of fake money

Mayflower police arrested a man in connection with possession of counterfeit money and stolen property at the Slovu Dundonald location.

Mayflower police arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with possession of counterfeit money and stolen property at the Slovu Dundonald location.

According to police, they received a tip-off about a man making fake money.

After thorough investigation, the man was caught in possession of R100 notes(45) with the same serial number and a 30 metre cable.

The suspect appeared at the Eerstehoek Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 19 January and the case was postponed to 7February for further investigation.
