Laerskool Ermelo held their annual prizegiving last Thursday with learners receiving prizes, certificates and trophies for individual performances in academics as well as sports.
Nomfanelo Magagula was awarded the Dux award for being the learner with the highest academic achievement after maintaining an average of 90 per cent throughout the year.
She was awarded the Anita Grey floating trophy and certificate.
Langelihle Soko (Grade 4), Lungile Mthethwa (Grade 5) and Owami Bhengu (Grade 6) were the top academic achievers in each grade. Siyabonga Mnguni and Bongeka Dladla were named the best male and female sport achiever of the year.
They received the Renita Saaiman floating trophies, medals and certificates.
