Chrissiesmeer Police arrested three men for the possession of marijuana last Tuesday.
The police were patrolling in town when they spotted a vehicle on the side of the road with its bonnet open.
They searched the vehicle and found compressed marijuana with a street value of R20 000 stashed inside.
Thabo Moruti (34), Lucky Jackson (34) and Fungayi Mapfumo (32) were arrested and appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday.
Moruti was granted R2 000 bail and will appear at the Chrissiesmeer Periodical Court on 10 October, while the others were released.
