Women discovers body in Breyten

A community member from Thabo Village in Breyten made a gruesome discovery yesterday morning, 4 September when she noticed a body lying on the side of the road with multiple stab wounds to the face.

She alerted police and the person was certified dead by Ermelo Emergency Management Services.

The man has been identified as Mr August Shoes Lubisi.

According to Breyten Police spokesman Sgt Mashegoane, no one has been arrested and the police are investigating a case of murder.

He is appealing to the public to come forward with any information that might be helpful to the case and urges anyone who might have witnessed something to contact Const Lucky Thusi on 0826600807 or anonymously contact SAPS Crime stop line 08600 10 111.
