Angel Zwane, Nosipho Ngwenya and Siphiwe Maseko took gold at the Mental Mathematics competition in Linyeye, Limpopo recently.
The three Children of the Dawn, Ermelo Centre beneficiaries competed with learners from various provinces to claim the prize.
The aim of the event is to test the children’s mental ability regarding mathematics, develop their calculating ability, sharpen their minds while providing a fun educational experience.
The trio walked away with gold medals, clothing vouchers and a trophy for best team collectively.
