Two adults, four children injured in accident

One person was seriously injured and five others, including four children, suffered light to moderate injuries in a collision involving a light motor vehicle and a mini bus outside Ermelo this morning (Friday).

The injured were treated on the scene by emergency personnel from Mpumalanga Emergency Services and ER24 and transported to the Mediclinic Ermelo and the Ermelo Provincial Hospital for further treatment.

Three of the patients were later discharged. The condition of the remaining patients is not known at this stage.

The accident occurred at about 07:30 at the Thusi intersection on the N11 between Ermelo and Hendrina.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
