Stephanus (Fanie) Grobler, the man who went missing from Ermelo on Tuesday 29 March was found unharmed in Standerton this morning (Thursday).

This was confirmed by SA Community Crime Watch (SACCW) this morning.

In a telephonic interview his wife said the family did not want to discuss the circumstances surrounding her husbands’ brief disappearance and requested that their privacy should be respected.

“We are grateful that Fanie was found and that he is unharmed. We are delighted to have him back.”

A 41-year-old Ermelo man, Stephanus (Fanie ) Grobler has been reported missing since 10:30 on Tuesday, 28 March when he left Ermelo en route to Emalahleni (Witbank) via Bethal for work.

He was wearing a blue check shirt, denim shorts with brown safety boots and driving a silver Toyota Hilux D40 Reg number HCM 522MP.

As of 15:30 on Wednesday, 29 March he had not yet been traced.
