GS Tvet College’s students on their way to China

The college organised an event to bid farewell to the students and congratulate them

A total of 14 Gert Sibande Tvet College engineering students have a lifetime opportunity to further their studies in China for 12 months.

They will also be exposed to the actual workplace experience at the top 500 Chinese manufacturing companies.

This is part of the agreement between the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) and the Chinese government to co-sponsor 200 students to go to China.

When they return to South Africa they will be employed by Chinese manufacturers based in the country.
