Lothair Police arrested and charged Mbekeni Mathebula (24) for possession of ammunition and he is also facing a charge of business robbery and burglary in Lothair.
Mathebula appeared in the Lothair Periodical Court on Thursday for a formal bail application.
The suspect remains in police custody.
Lothair acting Station Commander Capt. P.V. Mahlangu commended the members’ hard work in recent arrests and said the community would have a peace of mind, knowing that the police are working day and night to arrest perpetrators of wrongdoing.
