Arrested for dealing in dagga

Mayflower Police reacted to a tip-off and arrested and charged two male suspects for dealing in dagga during a patrol last Wednesday.

Mduduzi Mxolisi Ndlovu (29) and Pevelan Chetty (39) were driving a van loaded with dagga in Ematsheketsheni, Glenmore when they were stopped by the police.

Upon investigation, police found six bags each containing 10 rolls of wrapped dagga weighing 120,44 kg with an estimated street value of R220 000.

The duo appeared in the Mayflower Periodical Court on the same day and their case was postponed to 23 November.
