Parents should stop protecting children who commit crime

Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison Pat Ngomane is urging parents to refrain from protecting children who commit crime .

Ngomane argues that grandparents have a tendency of covering up for children and it is not assisting the police during their investigations which also delays the process of arresting suspects.

He encourages parents to teach their children to be responsible citizens because they are the future of the country.

Ngomane also calls for the community to work together with police, CPF and other agencies to fight crime.
