Suspects arrested

Mduduzi David Malinga (32) and Johan Phulwayo (37) were found in possession of nine plastic sachets with nyaope and R2000 in cash.

Suspects caught after trying to flee the scene with various stolen items.

Mayflower police arrested and charged two suspects for possession of drugs (nyaope) in Glenmore last Thursday.

Mduduzi David Malinga (32) and Johan Phulwayo (37) were found in possession of nine plastic sachets with nyaope and R2000 in cash. They appeared in the Mayflower Periodical Court last Friday and their case was postponed to 14 September.

Johan Phulwayo was found guilty and given a R900 fine or 30 days imprisonment and Mduduzi Malinga remain in police custody.

Jabulani Jokonia Nkambule (31) was arrested for theft last Wednesday for stealing a cellphone and a laptop worth R4200. He appeared in court last Friday and his case postponed to Wednesday (yesterday).
