The Ermelo Regional Court sentenced Lucky Sibanyoni (33) to 15 years’ imprisonment for murder committed on 25 December 2014. The suspect stabbed the victim with a beer bottle, assaulted him with a wooden block and he died on the scene.
Njabulo Mthethwa (21) was sentenced to four years for possession of suspected stolen goods. On 28 December last year, the suspect was found in possession of two wooden doors, a DVD player and a stereo cassette player.
Vusi Mansana (25) was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. The suspect hacked to death his victim by striking him on the head with a sharp object on 5 April this year.
