Decade celebrated with games and prizes

Customers were excited about the games and the never to be repeated low prices for the day.

The Game store in Ermelo celebrated 10 years of service and lucky customers walked off with various prizes last Saturday.

Customers were invited to take part in various games that were interesting and tricky. In a game of balance, each of three customers had to stack three golf balls on top of one another and keep them like that for five seconds.

Mr S. Phuthenveedu, who also celebrated his birthday on Saturday, won a cooler box after stacking two balls. After receiving his prize, he said the game was fun, interesting but very tricky.

Customers were also sent on a treasure hunt where they had to find a box of Easter eggs hidden in a small cooler box. Mr Johan Rossow was the winner in this competition.

Ms Marie Buskes received a Milex Stickocino frother after answering two trivia questions.

The game of floating cans also got participating customers sweating, where they had to pile up five empty can on top of a plate floating in water. Mr Gert Robertson was the final winner after managing just three cans.

Game celebrated its 10th year of service, while the store’s liquor outlet also celebrated its first anniversary.

Mr Otsile Mathibe coordinated the competition games for the day.
