Investment boost roads in Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga has invested more than R1.3 billion towards rehabilitation and road maintenance

The Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport in Mpumalanga has invested more than R1.3 billion towards rehabilitation and road maintenance for the 2015/16 financial year.

The rehabilitation of the 16km road project between Tutuka Power Station and Standerton started in January 2015 and is expected to be completed in in October 2016.

R244 million has also been set aside for the rehabilitation, upgrading and maintenance of P26/4 road from Ermelo to Breyten and work has commenced and is scheduled to be complete in January 2017.
