Youth League rewards excellence

"Its important that you remember where you're coming from and not get taken by the city life because it will just swallow you up"

The ANCYL in Silobela, Carolina recently rewarded excellence when they hosted the Anton Lambede Awards in Silobela.

The top 10 performing learners in the Carolina Circuit were paraded at the community hall filled to capacity by fellow comrades, parents and members of the community.

ANCYL regional chairperson Trevor Nkosi congratulated the learners and also warned them against making acquaintances with the wrong people at tertiary.

“Its important that you remember where you’re coming from and not get taken by the city life because it will just swallow you up”,said Trevor.

ANC regional chairperson Mr Muzi Chirwa applauded the class of 2015 for their sterling performance. He also congratulated parents and teachers for their hardwork which has paid off.

He said the learners must remember they are not representing themselves but the whole community.
