The Mokoena-Magalela family has had to endure the stench of sewer spillage for the past three months and all their attempts to the municipality have been fruitless.
According to Virginia and Buhle, daughters of Mokoena and Magalela, they are forced to sweep the floors every now and then as the sewer sometimes boils inside the house.
Buhle is also worried about her 1 year old daughter and young brother that they catch airborne bacteria.
When asked if they reported the matter to the municipality, Virginia said they have been making calls to the call centre and her father has made several visits to the municipal offices to no vail.
