Sewage runs into Pet Dam

Raw sewage flows into the Pet Dam, a popular picnic spot in Ermelo.

Raw sewage from a blocked sewerage pipe was once again flowing into the Pet Dam in Ermelo on Wednesday. The sewage flows into a storm water drain on the opposite side of the street which in turn flows directly into the dam. This is a recurring problem at this particular site and is one of numerous sites in Msukaligwa where sewerage spills regularly occur. The Pet Dam is a popular picnic spot in Ermelo.
