Ermelo – The body of a 33-year-old man, Samuel Mbanzi, a guard at a property on the corner of Fourie and Oos Street, was found by a fellow worker early on Saturday morning.
He had suffered several stab wounds to the head.
Police spokesman for Ermelo Capt Carla Prinsloo said it is believed Mbanzi was attacked by an unknown number of intruders who had disabled security cameras and then broke into the offices on the premises.
Electronic equipment to the value of R10 500 was stolen.
