A 28-year-old man was found dead in a house in Ermelo on Tuesday after apparently being accidentally electrocuted after taking a shower.
The deceased’s identity is known to the Highvelder but police have not yet official released his name.
The incident happened during a power outage in the northern part of the town.
A generator was found inside the house in the passage with a cable leading through the bathroom window to a distribution board.
A taped joint in the cable was found at the exit point of the shower.
Foul play is not suspected however Police are investigating the incident.
