Carolina police warn vehicle owners

Toyota and Mazda owners targeted

Carolina Police have released a warning to Toyota Tazz, Conquest and Mazda 323 car owners to consider additional security features to safeguard their vehicles.

This follows a number of attempts to steal this make and model of cars reported to the police. Carolina Police spokesman Const Dumile Malaza said the police recently recovered a stolen Mazda 323 just outside Carolina.

“We appeal to owners of these models and car owners in general to either beef up security at their houses, consider security features such as alarms and just to be vigilant when they park their cars anywhere in town and in Silobela,” said Cons Malaza.
