Msukaligwa municipality cares and responds

Enquiries regarding last week’s front page article in the Highvelder about the accident rate in Church Street led to a positive and swift response by the Msukaligwa Local Municipality.
In Church Street near the intersection with Jansen Street speed bumps were installed almost immediately and this week saw the installation of speed bumps in De Emigratie Road.
According to municipal spokesman Mr Mandla Zwane, motorists can expect more speed bumps in Church Street in the near future.
Judging by the positive response on Facebook, the community is relieved by the municipality’s commitment to make Ermelo’s streets safe. Callers to the newspaper have commended the municipality for responding to this matter with such urgency.
