CSF meets first time time in new year

Msukaligwa Community Safety Forum (CSF) held its first meeting for the year on Wednesday 19 February.

According to Ms MP Nkosi, a member of the mayoral committee who chaired the meeting, the purpose of the CSF is to implement programmes that will assist in the prevention of crime rather than to merely managing or controlling it.

After a crime overview presentation from the police and a report from security companies, various topics ranging from non-compliance to liquor licenses, the car guard project, stock theft and issues concerning illegal immigrants were discussed.

The CSF will hold its next meeting on 23 April.
