Vinasia is Tiny Queen

Judging included an on-stage introduction of themselves, hair, skin and nail care, modelling skills and self-confidence.

Pageants SA have announced that Vinasia Marx from Ermelo has been crowned as Miss Tiny Queen of the World 2014 and she has also received an award as Best Ramp Model.

Vinasia is a vibrant, friendly, outdoor Grade 1 learner from Laerskool JJ van der Merwe. She loves her modelling, but most of all playing with her brother and catching insects.

Vinasia is also the reigning Miss Tiny Africa 2013 and is already busy with a variety of charity events. She supports the Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused Children, and will soon continue collecting teddy bears for the annual Teddy Bear Tea. She is also involved in collecting bread tags for wheelchairs and is a regular face at various children’s wards in hospitals across the province.

This tiny queen will be working within and around her community and the Mpumalanga Province during the next 12 months and aims to continue making a difference in the lives of others.

The crowning event of the 2014 King & Queen of the World pageant was held on Saturday 8 February at the ACPP Hall in Pretoria, the fifth time the event has been held in Tshwane.

This is a pageant with a difference – the entrants are required to represent their forefathers and as a result of this, families begin looking into their heritage and culture. The winners in each age category take part in charity and community work within their respective provinces, thus brightening up the lives of those less fortunate than themselves.

Some of the charity work includes visiting the sick and elderly in hospitals, children’s and old age homes, as well as attending fundraising events.

Judging included an on-stage introduction of themselves, hair, skin and nail care, modelling skills and self-confidence.

Vinasia’s journey can be followed on www.facebook.com/MissTinyAfrica2013 or phone 084 805 0674 to assist her with charity work.
