Unidentified bodies found in Carolina

Carolina Police have requested help in identifying two bodies that were found near the town recently.

On 7 November the skeletal remains of an unknown person was found in bushes on the farm Witrand near the Northern Coal coal mine.

The deceased were dressed in blue jeans, a grey and red long-sleeved shirt and black socks.

In the second case, on 26 October the body of an African male was found about 5km outside Carolina on the road between Carolina and Badplaas.

The deceased was of light complexion and 1,6m tall.

The body was clothed in khaki trousers with a black belt, a navy and green striped T-shirt and red running shoes.
